The promoter

The Rewards Tours draw is run by Finite Art Pty Ltd, the company behind Fortuna Travel ("Fortuna", "we"). Questions about the draw go to [email protected].

Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of this draw and are not involved in it in any way. The draw is run by Fortuna alone, and any question or complaint about it goes to Fortuna, not to Apple or Google.

Free to enter

No purchase necessary. Entering is free. You do not need a subscription, a paid membership, a booking or any other purchase to enter or to win, and paying for something never improves your chance of winning.

Entries cannot be bought with money, FUT or FUT Rewards, and buying a place on a tour does not enter you in its draw.

Who can enter

Anyone who holds a Fortuna Travel account under our Terms of Use can enter while signed in to it. Accounts are opened by invitation, and opening one costs nothing.

Enter only through your own account. An entry made through someone else's account, or by automated means, is not valid. The draw is void where the law that applies to an entrant prohibits or restricts it.

How to enter

Sign in on fortuna.travel or in the Fortuna Travel app, open Rewards Tours, and press "Enter draw for free" on a tour whose draw is open. Your entry is recorded straight away and appears under Your entries.

How many entries

Each member has one free entry per calendar month and chooses which open draw to use it on. A calendar month starts at 00:00 on the 1st, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

You can enter each tour's draw once. Every entry has the same chance of being drawn.

When entries open and close

A tour's draw opens when Fortuna opens it on the Rewards Tours page, and the tour then offers "Enter draw for free". Every open draw shows the date its entries close, as "Draw closes". Entries close at 11:59 pm Sydney time (AEST or AEDT, whichever is in force) on that date, and are not accepted after that time. Fortuna does not close a draw early, except by cancelling it as described below.

The prize

The prize for each tour is a place on that tour for one person, on the dates and with the inclusions shown for the tour. Each tour shows how many places it holds for the draw. Those places are kept for winners and are never offered for sale.

The tour is provided at no cost to the winner. Anything the tour does not include, such as travel to and from its starting point, travel insurance, passports and visas, and personal spending, is the winner's own responsibility.

There is no cash alternative. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, FUT, FUT Rewards or credit, transferred to another person, or taken on other dates.

How winners are chosen

After a tour's entries close, Fortuna draws its winners at random, by computer, from every entry in that tour's draw, using a cryptographically secure random number generator. It draws as many winners as the tour holds places for the draw, or every entrant if there are fewer entries than places.

The draw cannot be made before entries close. Each draw is made once, and its result is final.

How winners are told

Fortuna emails each winner, at the address on their Fortuna account, as soon as the draw is made. The entry then shows "You won a place" under Your entries, on the website and in the app. Entrants who are not drawn see "Not selected this time".

Claiming the prize

A member of the Fortuna team contacts each winner by email to arrange their place. To accept the prize, the winner replies within 14 days of that email with the details needed to book their place.

If a winner cannot be reached, does not reply within 14 days, declines the prize or cannot travel on the tour's dates, the prize is forfeited. Because each draw is made once, no other entrant is drawn in their place.

If a draw cannot go ahead

If a tour cannot go ahead before its draw is made, Fortuna may cancel the tour and its draw, subject to any law that applies. No winner is then drawn, Fortuna emails every member who entered to tell them, and their entry shows as cancelled. An entry in a cancelled draw no longer counts as the member's free entry for the month it was made in, so if that month has not ended, they can use their free entry on another open draw.

Fortuna may disqualify an entry that breaks these rules or the Terms of Use.

Privacy

Fortuna uses the details on your account to run the draw, tell winners and arrange the prize, and handles them as its Privacy Policy describes at fortuna.travel/privacy.

Liability

Nothing in these rules excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, Fortuna is not liable for any loss or damage arising from entering the draw or from accepting or using the prize, except to the extent it is caused by Fortuna's negligence, fraud or breach of these rules.

Governing law

These rules and the draw are governed by the laws of Australia. Our Terms of Use at fortuna.travel/terms also apply, and where the two differ about the draw, these rules govern.
