Antarctica is the last truly wild place on earth - and the only way to experience it properly is on a private vessel, with a dedicated science team, at your own pace. This eighteen-day expedition departs from Ushuaia, Argentina, and crosses the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula. Ten days are spent navigating the peninsula's channels, bays, and islands - zodiac landings at penguin colonies (chinstrap, gentoo, and Adélie), kayaking through iceberg fields, and overnight camping on the ice for those who want the full immersion. A dedicated marine biologist and glaciologist accompany the voyage, providing context and insight that transforms wildlife sightings into genuine understanding. The return route passes through the Falkland Islands - home to the world's largest rockhopper penguin colony - and South Georgia, where 300,000 king penguins and tens of thousands of elephant seals share the beaches with the ruins of Ernest Shackleton's whaling station.
